Keto Diet Menu Sample
Do you love to cook? Does the idea of spending a day in your kitchen give you all the feels of excitement and joy? No? Just me? I kind of thought so… That’s probably why you’re on here searching for ketogenic diet menu samples.
Cooking is like a release for me; I feel relaxed moving about my kitchen, and I love the accolades from my family and friends after preparing a tasty feast. But honestly, that only happens on the weekends when I have some extra time. During the week it’s all about ketogenic convenience foods.
If you want a very simple ketogenic diet menu sample I will share with you what a typically weekday looks like for me:
It’s water for the first hour or two, and sometimes I will add ½ of a scoop of Xtend BCAAs
By about 9am I am drinking Bulletproof Coffee: coffee blended with 1 Tbsp of Kerrygold butter, ½ Tbsp Bulletproof Brain Octane, and ½ Tbsp Bulletproof XCT oil
This holds me over until at least 4 or 5pm, at which time I enjoy a giant salad made of romaine lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, cucumbers, and 4-5 ounces of a protein that I’ve made for the week - usually chicken or pork shoulder - in my InstantPot. I cover that dish with olive oil and practically lick the plate when done!
Immediately after dinner I will have a fat bomb, square of ChocoPerfection, or a tablespoon of peanut butter on a celery stick.
Does that sound like the most boring day ever? Probably, but it’s damn delicious and keeps me feeling super fit!
