Ketogenic Diet Recipes

Looking for ketogenic diet recipes?  There are certainly no shortages of them available on Google and/or Pinterest.  As the ketogenic lifestyle becomes more and more popular we see tons of ketogenic diet recipes all over.  Here’s the thing, though, that many of my clients have found about ketogenic diet recipes: they require some “strange” ingredients, and/or are super complicated to pull off.

I’m a lover of cooking and don’t mind spending a few hours here and there testing out some of the ketogenic diet recipes I find online, but if you are just getting started, keep it simple to avoid overwhelm while you eat deliciously and burn up that body fat.  Here is an example of a very simple ketogenic day of eating:

 

Breakfast

Bulletproof Coffee + 2 hard boiled eggs and 2 strips cooked uncured bacon

Lunch

4 oz ground beef (preferably 80/20 and grass-fed) cooked in 1-2 Tbsp avocado oil, with 1 small avocado

Snack

2 celery sticks with 1-2 Tbsp natural almond butter

Dinner

3 oz shredded chicken (made in a slow cooker or InstaPot) + 2 cups raw baby spinach with a ¼ each of cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, and red peppers and drizzled with 2 Tbsp olive oil

Dessert

¼ cup coconut cream (or whipped heavy whipping cream) with 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
